Stranger Things and Godzilla vs. Kong star Millie Bobby Brown has teased that she has held talks with both Marvel and DC about a potential role.
While Millie Bobby Brown has multiple credits to her name before appearing in Netflix’s Stranger Things in 2016, it was her portrayal of Eleven in the series that took her acting career to the next stratosphere. Following appearances in Godzilla: King of Monsters and Enola Holmes, fans have been convinced that it’s only a matter of time before the star joins either the MCU or DC Extended Universe.
Millie Bobby Brown’s next movie, Godzilla vs. Kong, is due to release at the end of this month. In a recent interview with Comicbook.com to help promote the film, Brown was asked directly about the constant speculation linking her with Marvel and DC. The star hinted that she has held discussions with both companies, but has yet to sign a deal with either of them.
in 2019, reports from many respectable trade outlets linked Brown with a role in the upcoming Eternals movie. Unfortunately, those rumours were debunked by Brown who stated at the time: “Everybody thinks that I’m going to be in a Marvel movie. Not that I know of. My family and I have no idea. So, I just want to let everybody know that I’m not… as of right now.”
There’s no doubt that both Marvel and DC would be interested in working with one of Hollywood’s brightest stars, although it sounds like Brown is in no rush to sign up unless the role is a good fit. Hopefully, that time will come in the near future.
