Since the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, many MCU fans have been guessing at what the title and premise of the third film will be. There have been many guesses at the title, but it now seems as though this has been confirmed.
The news comes from Charles Murphy at Murphy’s Multiverse. He points out that everyone in the entertainment industry seems to know the name and they’re casually flaunting it, and nobody’s noticing. If this is true then it appears the title will be Spider-Man: Homesick. Now we do need to point out that Charles has stated “This is not a confirmation on my part but simply me sharing evidence that’s out there.” So with this being said, we will need to wait and see if this is in fact the title, but let’s have a look at this evidence.
If this is incorrect then this wouldn’t be the first time a mistake like this has happened. The controller as the villain in Guardians of the Galaxy or that Hilary Swank was to appear in Iron Man. But it also wouldn’t be the first time an MCU movie title was casually released. The composer from Endgame revealed the title when he added it to his resume.
Charles Murphy did some more digging and found out that the set construction and prep work that has started in Atlanta is also being referred to as Homesick. This may be because everyone is reading Maxim and Esquire but it may be because… That’s what it’s called.
Either way we will have to wait until this is confirmed to be sure.
Spider-Man 3 will release in theatres in December 2021.
