Filming for Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to begin in the near future according to a report from 7News in Australia. Filming was originally scheduled to start 18 weeks ago but was halted in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The news station released a video earlier today which shows crew hard at work constructing the movie’s set. The report states that Shang-Chi‘s cast members are now all back in Australia and have completed the required quarantine period and that shooting for the movie is set to begin “in the coming days”.

A recent Instagram post from Michelle Yeoh showed the actor being tested for the Coronavirus in Australia. Coupled with today’s news from 7News that all cast members are now in Australia and have completed their quarantine, it looks increasingly likely that Yeoh will appear in Shang-Chi.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to release on May 7th, 2021.
