Ever since his debut in 2011, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has been a firm favourite amongst fans. Despite playing the role of the leading villain in the first Thor and Avengers films, Loki has been reimagined and reinvented throughout the first three phases of the MCU to become the perfect God of Mischief.
Many fans assumed that we had seen the last of Loki following his death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Thankfully, Avengers: Endgame‘s time-travelling adventure provided another chance for everyone’s favourite anti-hero to make another appearance.
Fast forward to the start of phase four of the MCU and Hiddleston is set to return to the role once again in the upcoming Disney+ series Loki. Last month, a new trailer for the series revealed that fans will get the chance to catch up to the God of Mischief shortly after his disappearance in Endgame and his subsequent capture by the TVA.
With only a few week’s until the first of Loki‘s six episodes premieres on Disney+, Marvel Studios has released a new video for the series. In the trailer, Hiddleston recaps Loki’s journey from his debut in 2011 right up to his final appearance. You can check out the video in full below:
The first episode of Loki will premiere on Wednesday, June 9th exclusively on Disney+.
