New Trailer Released for Disney+ Docuseries Marvel’s 616.

With the news that Black Widow has been delayed until next year, Marvel fans will have to wait until WandaVision launches on Disney+ in December for their next hit of MCU content. If you’re a fan of the larger world of Marvel, however, a new eight-part docuseries releasing in November might interest you.

All eight episodes of Marvel’s 616 will release on November 20th on Disney+. The series will explore how Marvel comics, characters and creators have impacted the real world. Each episode is directed by a different filmmaker and will focus on a different subject. From the trailblazing women of Marvel comics to the Japanese Spider-Man.

Marvel’s 616 explores how Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters and creators exist within the world outside your window. Each documentary, helmed by a unique filmmaker, explores the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Films in this anthology series will cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, and much more.
