The next series from Marvel Studios to release on Disney+ is now only a few weeks away. On June 9th, Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as the MCU’s God of Mischief in Loki.

Last month, the hype for Loki began to build amongst fans when Marvel released a new trailer for the series. The trailer showed lots of new footage including more of the interaction between Hiddleston and Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius. At last night’s MTV Movie and TV Awards, fans were treated to a brand new clip, which was introduced by Hiddleston. You can watch the new Loki trailer in full below:

The idea that your little club decides the fate of trillions of people across all of existence at the behest of three space lizards? Yes, it’s funny. It’s absurd.

The interaction between Hiddleston and Wilson in the new trailer provides further insight into the role of the Time Variance Authority in the MCU. In the Marvel comics, the TVA is an agency that monitors the various realities of the multiverse. Following Loki’s disappearance in Avengers: Endgame, it’s clear that his actions have brought him to the attention of the agency, and in particular one of its administrators, Mobius.

Loki will release on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9th.
