Marvel fans were not left wanting after all the announced projects at the impressive Disney Investors Day presentation. But there are some projects that appear to be in the works that were not announced. Marvel Studios Nomad appears to be one such project.
Disney has trademarked “Marvel Studios Nomad” giving hope to fans that we may see a return of Steve Rogers to the MCU. Whether the studio is planning a series or theatrical release is unknown as is exactly what incarnation of the hero we may see.
Nomad was first introduced in Captain America #180. Steve Rogers took on the mantle and changed his look after he found out the U.S. government was run by the secret empire. We may see some kind of one-shot or mini-series showing what Steve Rogers got up to between Captain America: Civil War (which ran a version of the above storyline) and Avengers: Endgame.
Over the years several characters have taken on the identity including Jack Monroe, who went on to join the Thunderbolts. This could be a way to bring both the character and the team into the MCU. Another way the character could be introduced is via some of the already announced projects like Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
As far as the confirmed news on this project is concerned, we have very little set in stone. As we hear more we will as always keep you updated.
In the meantime why not check out our article on the Thunderbolts below?
