The second solo Spider-Man movie in the MCU, Spider-Man: Far From Home, introduced fans to the idea of the Multiverse through Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio. The idea was dropped by fans when it turned out Beck was a disgruntled ex Stark employee. The post-credit scene though made fans think again as we saw J.K Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. An alternate version of the character he played in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. The actor has now teased that he may appear again in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Simmons said that he’s “pretty sure people know that I might be showing up in Spider-Man Land again” while speaking about his roles in superhero movies. It would seem strange for him to make the comment if he wasn’t going to appear in the movie.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set for release December 2021.
