The actor credited in the film as “Expo kid” was portrayed by Max Favreau, the son of Iron Man director Jon Favreau who also plays the part of Tony Stark’s assistant Happy Hogan. He is seen towards the end of the film when Iron Man and War Machine are battling the drones created by Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) under the guidance of Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell).
In a recent interview Tom Holland stated the child is in fact a young Peter Parker confirming a long standing fan theory based on the fact that a) Peter parker live in Quoeens the location of the Stark Expo b) that Peter would have been interested in technology and a fan of Tony Stark c) the age is about right. We will see more of Tom Holland next month when we see him in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. The second movie in the MCU starring Spider-Man since his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Fans of Iron Man will have a longer wait to see him on screen and will have to wait until Avengers: Infinity War which is due to release April 2018.
