Actor Giancarlo Esposito has stated that a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is where he sees his future.
The actor who is best known for his role as drug lord Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad revealed his wish to join the MCU in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. The interview was released yesterday to coincide with the announcement that he will play the main antagonist in the upcoming Far Cry 6 game scheduled to release in 2021. Towards the end of the video, Esposito was asked about rumours linking him with a role in the MCU as well as if he had a dream role. The actor’s reply is below:

The actor does have ties to Disney after taking on roles in The Jungle Book and The Mandalorian. He is also no stranger to superhero productions after voicing Lex Luther in the Harley Quinn in the animated series.
With Giancarlo Esposito’s admission that he wants a role in the MCU, rumours that have been circulating since last year will only gather pace. Surely it’s now only a matter of time before Marvel Studios make the call?
