Spider-Man: No Way Home is highly anticipated by fans. Marvel is not giving much away regarding the plot and due to that fans minds are racing with all sort of possibilities for the movie. Some sound quite plausible but some are outlandish. One of the more interesting ones is the rumour that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are reprising their roles of Peter Parker. So far there has been little real evidence to suggest this is happening but we now have something that suggests one of these may be in the latest instalment.
The latest evidence comes from Twitter user @simonmoore2110 who revealed a video posted by William Spencer. The video shows him on what looks to be the set of No Way Home. Spencer was the stunt double for Andrew Garfield for both of his Spider-Man movies. In the original post he also tagged in Greg Townley, Tom Holland’s stunt double.
UPDATE: Since this was originally posted Townley has removed the video.
What does this evidence suggest?
There are few ways we can read into all of this. Firstly the video does not show anything that specifically points to it being the Spider-Man set, only a film set. The chances of the two stunt doubles working on another film entirely are not off the table.
That being said we also have to look at the comments Tom holland made about Tobey and Andrew not being in the movie. This could just be a way for the studio to keep the famously loose lipped Holland from accidentally spilling the beans on something they want kept secret.
Another thing we need to look at is the fact the video has since been taken down. This indicates that there is something in the video someone doesn’t want made public yet.
However you read into it we are sure this movie is going to be awesome.
