The MCU has taken its fans through a rollercoaster ride with its release schedule, thanks to the global Coronavirus pandemic. The Disney+ series Loki is no exception. After previously being pushed back to Friday, June 11th, Marvel has announced a new date for the show. But it’s not all bad news.
In a new video released by Marvel Entertainment, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston announces that the show will air on Wednesday’s rather than Fridays, unlike the two previous Disney+ shows, WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
This means the show will debut on the streaming service on June 9th, 2021.
The show will follow the God of mischief, Loki, as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
