Whilst it’s not uncommon to have different directors working on separate episodes of TV shows, the three upcoming MCU series on Disney+ have all have been confirmed to feature solo directors so far. That’s about to change, however, as a fresh report says that Hawkeye will have multiple directors.
The news comes via The Hollywood Reporter who revealed that the live-action Jeremy Renner series has recruited duo Bert and Bertie (Troop Zero) and Rhys Thomas (Comrade Detective, John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch) to direct “blocks of episodes”.
Production on multiple MCU projects is beginning to ramp back up again as lockdown restrictions from the global pandemic ease. The last we heard from the Hawkeye series was that it has the new working title of Anchor Point. No doubt more details will begin to surface as production gets underway later this year.
Hawkeye doesn’t have a release date yet.
