WandaVision may still be fresh in our memories, but attention is quickly switching to Marvel Studios’ next release on Disney+. Earlier today, cast and crew from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier gathered for the show’s global press conference. The press conference was filled with bits of information, including Kevin Feige discussing the future for Falcon and Winter Soldier in the MCU.

One of the more intriguing questions brought up in the press conference came when both Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie were asked which new MCU phase four characters they were most excited to interact with. Stan opted for Moon Knight which will star Oscar Isaac, stating “I heard the story, and I was like, ‘That’s going to be amazing!'”

Anthony Mackie went a bit more in-depth with his reply, stating that he would love to have “one line” in the upcoming Blade reboot. You can see his full quote below:

I would have to say She-Hulk. [She’s] an interesting character I’m looking forward to seeing. But, i would really – Kevin – like to spend some time in Blade world. I would love…I’ll say this. I remember, they were shooting Spider-Man in Harlem on 121st Street, and there was this restaurant. I was sitting outside having lunch with my friend who was the manager and they were shooting Spider-Man. I was a huge Tobey Maguire fan and I love Tobey Maguire. I saw [Joy Bryant] and she had one line, and she said, ‘It’s Spider-Man.’ I got on the phone to my agent and said, ‘Dammit, I better have one line in one of these movies.’ Kevin, I want to be the [Joy Bryant] of She-Hulk or Blade! [Laughs] I’ll wear prosthetics.

If Kevin Feige was unaware of Mackie’s wish previously, he certainly knows now. A team-up between Anthony Mackie’s Falcon and Mahershala Ali’s Blade would be interesting to see, although how Blade is introduced into the MCU remains to be seen. The door has been left wide open for the introduction of vampires into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, thanks to the appearance of the Darkhold in WandaVision. In the Marvel comics, a spell found in the Darkhold was used to create the first vampire.
